I woke up at noon and jumped in the shower. Greg and I got ready and then packed up the suitcase with clothes and went to the laundry mat. We threw the clothes in and headed to the design center to take the pictures off Greg's camera so that he had more room for Florence. We went back to the laundry mat, threw the clothes int he dryer, then went to il Centro to get some groceries and um refreshments. We folded the clothes and headed back to the apartment.
We dropped off the suitcase and had lunch. I made some bruschetta and we had some salami and peperoni sandwiches. After lunch we headed out for the day. We went to the Duomo in hopes of climbing to the top to see the city at night. It was closed. We walked around the downtown area and I pointed out different things that I knew about. We went through the central market area where all of the stands are set up with people selling things. We got some Cuban cigars! We continued our stroll through the area and eventually stopped at a little Kebob place and got the Piadina Kebob. It started hailing like crazy while we were eating! We then headed back to the apartment. We cracked open a couple beers and talked to mom on gmail. We then opened a bottle of wine (Greg's first real time drinking it) and I showed him various wine tasting techniques. We split the whole bottle.
I planned tomorrow's itinerary and then we went to sleep.
